Providing a large number of motor vehicles for loading according to a pre-set schedule;
Obtaining permits in countries of origin, transit and destination;
Ensuring temperature control with account of the weather conditions
Challenges overcome:
Complicated contractual shipping support;
Tight project deadline;
Challenging weather conditions;
Remote location for unloading (CIS);
Project summary:
Twenty truckloads of turf grass loaded within two days in Europe;
A required number of vehicles could not be identified before transportation due to the load specifics. On loading, it transpired that twenty vehicles would suffice to transport the cargo, instead of the 30 pre-ordered.
We managed to find loads for the ten available vehicles to save our client a fine;
We ensured that all vehicles arrived at the Moscow Oblast customs terminal within one day;
Customs clearance procedures were conducted in accordance with CCD 1 followed by the issue of phytosanitary certificates per each vehicle;
Once cleared, the vehicles reached the stadium within the deadlines specified by the stadium field constructing company.
